Dangerous overload situations may occur during lifting activities for several reasons. The first one being not knowing the lifted load's weight. When the weight is unknown, no matter how experienced the crane operator is, weight evaluations are not accurate enough and may cause a dangerous overload.
However, unknown weight is only one of the reasons for overload. Even when the weight is known, dangerous overload may still occur. For example:
Crane overload is very dangerous and may cause accidents. It must be prevented. RON Crane Scales help to control overload and prevent it. Crane overload control and prevention may be achieved by using weighing systems such as crane scales and dynamometers, or overload warning systems: 1. Weighing systems are electronic crane scales and dynamometers that measure the load, display the value and trigger an overload warning or alarm whenever an overload situation occurs. 2. Crane overload warning systems are crane overload detectors that help to monitor, detect and prevent overload situations by triggering an overload warning or alarm whenever the preset threshold is reached due to an overload situation. | |||||||||
